Terms and Conditions

We accept Cash, Cheques, PayPal and Credit / Debit Cards via PayPal.


Any cheques must be made payable to “Christopher Dornan”.
Personal Cheques must have guarantee card number and address printed on the back.
PayPal payments should be sent to chris@cditni.com.

All PC / Laptop Repairs require payment upon collection / delivery.
All repairs MUST be collected within 3 months of job completion otherwise they will be disposed of.

3 Months warranty supplied with all parts and services unless otherwise stated.

Chargers – 3 month warranty.
Wireless network setup – 3 month warranty.
Format and reinstall laptop / PC – 1 month warranty.
Laptop / PC hardware repairs – 3 month warranty.

CDiTNi and its engineers will not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or personal injury related to their work unless a link can be conclusively proved and the law requires it.

CDiTNi will not accept any responsibility for loss of data or the voiding of any manufacturer warranties as it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all data is backed up and warranties are not affected.

Although all problems are intended to be rectified to the best of the engineer’s ability, success is not guaranteed in any job.

Computers and their components have a tendency to be unpredictable so some problems may take longer and cost more than initially stated to solve than others. The ‘no-fix-no-fee’ policy will not apply if a client stops our work due to time constraints. A fee for the engineers time will still apply.

In the event that the problem is diagnosed but customers do not want it to be repaired, a charge will be applied for the time taken to diagnose the problem.

If after thorough analysis and research our engineer fails to diagnose the problem, customers will be informed of this. Customers will not be charged if we fail to diagnose or fix the problem however we reserve the right to withdraw this and any other offer at any time depending on individual situations. If the engineer is called out to a job and cannot resolve the problem, the travel / callout charge based on that particular job will remain.

Limited data recovery means that data will be recovered to the best of the engineers ability, however success is not guaranteed.

Data recovery is a time-consuming process so you will be charged for the time taken to attempt the operation even if the process is unsuccessful.

CDiTNi only repair systems running Microsoft Windows operating systems version 95 and higher. Limited support is available for Mac and Linux systems.

Windows Servers are currently not supported by CDiTNi.

Call-outs are not available in all areas and are subject to distance and time constrictions.

All call-outs are subject to change or cancellation and the customer will be given as much notice as possible prior to the appointment.

Cancellations from the client must be conveyed by phone, email or text by a minimum of 18 hours prior to the scheduled time.

Cancellation within 18 hours may result in a monetary penalty (at the discretion of CDiTNi).

All payment of invoices: home users must pay upon completion of job. Business users must pay within 14 days of completion of job and non-payers will be pursued through legal channels.

If a bill remains unpaid beyond 14 days we reserve the right to levy additional charges.

While a bill remains unpaid or in dispute, no further help or support will be given.

No-fix-no-fee excludes phone support or any form of remote assistance.

Telephone calls and online communications may be logged and may be recorded for liability and security reasons.

A broadband connection is required for remote assistance connections, as a slower connection than this is insufficient to ensure a stable connection.

Build times on PCs are only an estimation and will be met whenever possible.

Sometimes parts may be unavailable or discontinued. In these circumstances we reserve the right to change them for parts which offer an equal or greater level of functionality and also may incur an additional charge.

All custom build PCs and accessories are supplied with a 12 month guarantee which my be voided if the computer case is opened and hardware is changed or removed by the customer.
